Our designs are printed in the UK in small quantities, working with two of the country's most established textile and wallpaper manufacturers — family-run businesses with decades of craft behind them.

Every St Jude's design begins the same way: our co-founders Simon and Angie Lewin choose artists whose work they admire, and approach them directly. From there, they discuss ideas together, but the creative decisions are always the artist's own.
Nothing starts life on a screen. Each design originates as a hand-drawn illustration, a linocut print, or a papercut collage — the same techniques these artists have always worked in, simply translated onto fabric and wallpaper rather than paper.
Once a design is ready, we work closely with our printers, sampling and refining before anything goes into full production. Everything is printed in small quantities, with waste always kept to a minimum.
We also pay each artist a royalty on every metre or roll sold — so as St Jude's grows, our artists share in that success too.
