Albion wallpaper

Albion by Christopher Brown was developed from an original linocut inspired by themes of British history and folklore. Printed in dark orange and deep reddish-brown, the design retains the character of the original print while adapting it for use as a repeating wallpaper pattern. Brown’s interest in linocut printmaking was encouraged by Edward Bawden during his studies at the Royal College of Art, and Albion reflects a continuing engagement with this distinctive British tradition. Curated as part of the St Jude’s collection of artist-designed wallpapers.
