Albion wallpaper

Albion by Christopher Brown was developed from an original linocut inspired by themes of British history and folklore. Printed in white and black, the design retains the character of the original print while adapting it for use as a repeating wallpaper pattern. Brown’s interest in linocut printmaking was encouraged by Edward Bawden during his studies at the Royal College of Art, and Albion reflects a continuing engagement with this distinctive British tradition. Curated as part of the St Jude’s collection of artist-designed wallpapers.
