Compton Verney wallpaper

Compton Verney by Mark Hearld was specially designed for the redisplay of the Compton Verney Folk Art Collection in 2018. Printed in blue, warm stone and white, the wallpaper was developed from an original linocut and incorporates swans, sheep, trees and flowing water inspired by the landscape surrounding the house and grounds. First installed within the reimagined Folk Art galleries, the design retains the character of the original print and now forms part of the St Jude’s collection of artist-designed wallpapers.
