Pigeon and Clock Tower wallpaper

By Edward Bawden

Pigeon and Clock Tower by Edward Bawden was originally created in 1927. Printed in the original 1927 colourway, the wallpaper retains the character of the original design and reflects the clarity, wit and observational qualities that would come to define Bawden’s work. Having studied at the Royal College of Art under Paul Nash, Bawden went on to establish an influential career spanning printmaking, illustration, painting and design. Curated as part of the St Jude’s collection of artist-designed wallpapers.
