Seaweed wallpaper

Seaweed by Edward Bawden was developed from the artist’s original design and reflects his ability to transform observed natural forms into decorative pattern. Printed in the original colourway, the wallpaper retains the character of the original artwork, with flowing seaweed forms arranged in a rhythmic repeating design. Having studied at the Royal College of Art under Paul Nash, Bawden went on to establish an influential career spanning printmaking, illustration, painting and design. The design forms part of the St Jude’s collection of artist-designed wallpapers.
