Birch Tree Sun fabric
Colourway: Charcoal/Dawn Grey
Birch Tree Sun by Angie Lewin was developed from one of the artist’s original linocuts and draws upon ideas first explored in her 2006 wood engraving Five Trees and 2010 screen print Winter Birches. Printed in charcoal brown and grey on pale natural linen, the design was inspired by time spent exploring woodland along the River Spey in Scotland and retains the rhythm and structure of the original print. The design forms part of the St Jude’s collection of artist-designed fabrics.
