Wren wallpaper
Colourway: Ultramarine
Wren by Mark Hearld was developed from a hand-carved linocut inspired by a visit to Paris and the eighteenth-century French decorative papers featured in Papiers Dominotés Français. Printed in two shades of ultramarine, the design brings together birds, foliage and flowing ribbon-like forms within a richly patterned repeat. Retaining the character of the original print, Wren reflects Hearld’s fascination with the meeting of natural forms and decorative design. The design forms part of the St Jude’s collection of artist-designed wallpapers.
Printed width: 52cm
Pattern repeat: 52cm (half drop)
Paper: Non-woven

Please note: This design originates from an original linocut by Mark Hearld and as with many St. Jude’s designs the texture of these hand printed elements may well be reflected in this wallpaper.
