Monkeys and Birds wallpaper
Colourway: Rose/Grey Parma
Monkeys and Birds by Sheila Robinson was originally created in 1958 as a hand-printed wallpaper for Cage Cottage, the family home in Great Bardfield. Developed from the artist’s original linocut blocks and printed in soft rose pink and pale Parma grey, the design combines playful animal motifs within a lively decorative repeat. Retaining the character of the original print, Monkeys and Birds forms part of the St Jude’s collection of artist-designed wallpapers and celebrates Robinson’s contribution to post-war British printmaking.
Printed width: 52cm
Pattern repeat: 53cm (half drop)
Paper: Standard
Hanging method: Paste the paper

Please note: This design originates from original linocut elements by Sheila Robinson and as with many St. Jude’s designs the texture of these hand printed elements may well be reflected in this wallpaper.
