White Hart
Colourway: Chaffinch Pink/Teal
White Hart by Mark Hearld was developed from a large-scale paper cut created for the twentieth anniversary of St Jude’s. Printed in pink and deep teal on ecru linen union, the design was inspired by historic verdure and hunting tapestries and reflects Hearld’s long-held ambition to create a textile pattern that makes use of the full printable width of the cloth. Populated by finches, hares, pheasants, a fox, a fallow doe and the white hart itself, the design combines the graphic qualities of paper cut with influences drawn from British folk art. Curated as part of the St Jude’s collection of artist-designed fabrics.
